Story
BASE infoshop is a not for profit collective that has been providing radical, alternative literature and culture for 25 years. The infoshop has always promoted critical thinking and analysis and stocks a wide range of books, pamphlets and music. It is run by volunteers from BASE social centre in Easton, Bristol. More information about our aims and ethos can be found here:
https://network23.org/kebele2/collectives/infoshop/
Like many other self organised community projects, BASE infoshop has been hit hard by the covid-19 pandemic. With the social centre closed and none of the usual gigs and community events we usually attend taking place since the middle of March, the project is struggling. We are hoping to raise enough to pay off debts to distributors and local authors and artists we buy from and to keep the project going.

If you would like to support BASE infoshop and our continuing work to distribute alternative media and literature, please make a donation. In the spirit of mutual aid we would like to offer something in return. So we are now opening the great BASE infoshop lucky dip! If you would like anything from the infoshop just make a donation, send us an email to baseinfoshop@riseup.net with:
1) How much you donated.
2) What sort of thing(s) or what subject(s) you would like a book or pamphlet about, or specific title(s) you want.
3) Your postal address.
We will then see if we have your request(s) and send or deliver your infoshop goodies to you and you can read or listen while smiling contentedly, knowing you have supported your radical infoshop to come out the other side of the pandemic fighting fit!
Thank you, in advance. Stay well and stay sharp!
For mutual aid and solidarity,
