On Saturday 9th May, Queen Darcie, Princess Sophie, and Millie will be swapping their crowns and dresses for fancy dress as they take part in a **5K sponsored walk at Hylands park alongside six other carnival courts from across Essex . 👑➡️🚶‍♀️

The Basildon and Pitsea Carnival Parade is a valued community tradition that brings the town together each year, filling the streets with colourful floats, music, dancers, majorettes, and local community groups. It is a remarkable event that takes many months of planning and dedication from volunteers working behind the scenes to create a memorable day for everyone and to strengthen community spirit. ✨

Throughout the year, our Carnival Court works together to raise funds in support of local charities and community causes, helping to give back to those who need it most.
