Sadly Basil has blocked again!! They are going to try to treat it with anti inflammatory things and pain killers so fingers crossed its irritation from something. If not then the only option is to turn his boy bits to girl bits and shorten his urethra. Bless him. X

Basil update: So this wonderful cannonball head had a vets appointment today and has got the all clear!!!! He just has to finish the meds he has and stay on special cat food!!!! The end bill total is £1077 (after they kindly deducted one of the catheter charges) and our amazing friends and their connections raised an incredible contribution of £595 (which we'll get 557actual pounds from after fees from our pay half basil's bills just giving campaign) so half of it is covered. What a bloody great day!!!! Thanks everyone for just being amazing! X

Basil had another vet check up today and so far so good! Which is brilliant news! The total vet bill for the last couple of weeks has come in slightly cheaper than estimated too thanks to the Vets being stars at £1100 so far so your donations have just really made our lives a million times easier in contributing half of Basil's costs to date. He still isn't eating and drinking properly but the vet is hopeful he's just sore and grumpy so fingers crossed the poor lad won't have to be poked and prodded for a while.
