Story
We are raising money for my beautiful and incredibly strong-willed sister, Jody, who suffers from CHARGE syndrome. 💓
She loves music, especially festivals, however due to her disabilities, without a specially converted and adapted camper van, staying away from home is near on impossible for her as part of her conditions means she requires over night oxygen and ventilation and a special bed as well as making life in general very complicated for her.
For the last 8 years, my boyfriend and I have been lucky enough to take Jody to WOMAD, Wilderness and even Glastonbury festivals with the charity Festival Spirit. However, last year, when they were unable to accommodate us, we realised it's time that she had the independence and freedom she deserves to attend as many festivals and gigs all over the country so we started to think about having her own camper van - however it will need to be very specific!
We have so far raised £4000 thanks to some very amazing people and have been lucky enough to purchase a bus to convert, that's right, she is going to have her own bus!!
As well as individual donations, which are so very gratefully received, we are also looking for company sponsorship in return for advertising once the project is finished like wise if companies are able to offer help with the conversion - please do get in touch -Jodyscampervan@gmail.com.
My sister is truly at her happiest surrounded baselines and fun smiley happy people so lets help get her to the party!

7 years agoJody loves to party and her happiest place is in front of a massive sound system, be that at a rave or festival! She loves DnB, Jungle, Dub, Rap and anything with a heavy bass line!Being registered deaf blind, feeling the music brings her so much joy!She needs over night oxygen and a specialist bed which is why we need to convert her this bus to make going to festivals a continued reality! She has been lucky enough to meet and become good friends with these legends that create the music that makes her happy and we are go grateful for this!x

My sister doesn't have it easy and my mission is to make her as happy as possible. She LOVES music, especially when she can feel it, her "Happy Place" is at a festival or rave! Why should she be stopped from doing this because of her disabilities?! Simply put - she shouldn't!x
