Story
An Evening with Margaret Humphreys
On March 18th for World Social Work Month BASW is offering a fantastic virtual event - An Evening with Margaret Humphreys.
We are asking for a small donation to the The Child Migrants Trust to join the event. Please give as much or as little as you can.
This is an opportunity to hear about Margaret’s work past and present and the exceptional events that led to her work with former child migrants to Australia.
We will be showing the film ‘Oranges and Sunshine’ reflecting on her social work journey from Nottingham to Australia. We will also be joined by the film’s Director Jim Loach to talk about the film making process through this very important subject.
BASW want to help raise awareness of the work that continues for former child migrants and raise funds for Margaret’s amazing charity ‘The Child Migrants Trust’.
No minimum donation and no maximum donation limit. Find out more about the Child Migrants Trust
