Weʼve raised £205 to Help fund training facilities and money towards cheerleading competitions

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We are student-led club within the Bath Spa University Student Union, and we train up to 12 hours a week for one or two big competitions around Easter.
Our committee and coaches are student volunteers, who dedicate their uni lives to cheer. More often than not, the students are putting more hours into practices and organisation of the club than our degrees!
Unfortunately for us, Cheer gains little recognition as a sport and therefore receives little funding and support... we train just as hard as any other athlete but struggle to get the funding we need to cover the costs of training and competitions!
We are doing the best we can to raise some money this year to get to competition, including bake sales and bag packs.. but we would be so grateful for anything you can donate to us. Even just £1 or £2 really does help!
We will do a special shoutout to anyone who donates £20 or more, we may even use our pom poms to create a little personalised video :)
If you don't wish to donate but would still like to support us, you can follow our social media pages to see what we get up to.
Thank you for reading our story!
