Story
A few months ago Bayley became poorly. He was diagnosed nearly three weeks ago with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukeamia.
He was admitted into Birmingham Children's Hospital where he began his long journey of chemotherapy a couple of weeks ago.
In all this, Bayley has been amazing. He's smiled everyday and kept his spirits up. He hasn't moaned or complained he has simply dealt with this better than anyone could ever imagine. Sarah and Dean have been by his side 24/7 and he has given them the ability to keep strong throughout this nightmare.
Bayley has been told he may be able to come home soon, and all he has asked is for his own space to help him recover. Our house isn't big enough to offer him a space of his own to recover so he has asked for his very own "Man Cave" in the garden. A place for him to retreat, shut the door and chill. We're thinking bed settee, beanbags, Xbox, pool table, darts board; a place for a 13 year old to be a 13 year old!
All of this won't come cheap, we have to think about clearing the garden, gravelling to make it clean and safe, laying a concrete base, building/insolating/decorating a shed and then furnishings. With work at a standstill and constant travelling/food expenses this isn't do able on our own.
You do not understand what a massive difference this will make to Bayley's recovery. Every penny donated will help more than you can imagine. Thanks.
