I've raised £450 to help give our students an end of year show to remember!

Our schools in Buckinghamshire and Surrey have over 70 students that join us each week to experience the wonderful world of drama. This Summer, they will be embarking on a journey of storytelling as they rehearse for an end of year show for friends and family. As a not-for-profit organisation, we need your help to cover the cost of these shows and give our students the best possible theatrical experience.
-----------------------------
Big Bold Youth was founded in 2015 and established in 2017 as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, with a mission to provide affordable and accessible drama activities for young people across the UK. Starting with three free school workshops in Grimbsy, the organisation now runs regular drama activities for 6-18 year olds across Buckinghamshire and Surrey, with more than 70 weekly students, as well as school workshops across the country.
Our main policy is acceptance. We want every child to have the opportunity to experience drama, even if they don’t wish to forge a career as an actor. There are huge benefits to be gained from joining a local drama group, from building confidence to improving communication. Whether your joining one of our weekly classes or enjoying an action packed school workshop, we have created an educational framework to guide our students through the process of developing skills in acting, voice and movement.
We pride ourselves on having some of the most passionate teaching staff around, all of whom are working industry professionals and have trained at some of the country’s leading drama schools. We have had so much positive feedback about our activities: from the ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ reviews by parents to the smiles on our student’s faces. We thoroughly believe that drama is an integral part of a child’s education and we are hugely proud to be part of their development.
Each production has a budget of £200. This money will go towards the hiring of lighting and sound equipment, props and costumes. As a not-for-profit, we focus on our students development, not the cost, and we want our students to have the best possible experience this Summer after a whole three terms of learning new skills. We do not charge for admission to the shows and equally don't charge parents an additional fee for their children to take part.
Although we keep our fees as low as possible, we would love to put any surplus money raised straight into our scholarship fund. For each additional £1300 raised, we will be able to give one student in every activity a free place over the next 12 months.
If you would like to support our students this Summer, use the buttons above to donate. No matter how small, it will make a huge difference for our students. From everyone here at Big Bold Youth, thank you for your support.
