I've raised £600 to help fund an incredible Lombok Foundation with building their new school and helping with students tuition fees.

We have just finished our first ever week at a Foundation in central Lombok teaching English and learning about the local culture. What an experience it has been.
Both Hannah and I have loved our stay with the foundation. Mr. Tony and all of the students at BC Bright course have kindly welcomed us as family. And for sure, have brought us back down to earth and shown us the importance of friends, family and community.
They show so much ambition and perseverance. Never giving up on their dreams. And always striving for the best for them and their families.
We have been told by a number of students how helpful it has been having us around, to help with their english and for when they get jobs in hospitality
They don't have many luxuries or want for materialistic things. Education and a full belly is adequate enough.
To them money is not the most important thing in life, but the building of their new school has come to a hault and students have to delay payments, albeit small. It has come to a point where now, they do need extra funds to finish the great work they have started.
This week has been humbling and made us rethink how it is to be a genuinely generous human being. What we believe to be small change, or not much money, to them means better opportunities
Our conversations with the foundation director have been eye opening and his vision, ideas and enthusiasm to give others every chance of success are inspiring.
We hope that anyone who reads this story can contribute any way they can, even just spreading the word to others would be great. We know the donations will go to the right places.
If you have any questions about this experience, feel free to ask.
Thank you, on behalf of BC Bright Course Lombok.
For a Brighter Future.
