Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is a charitable organisation that do alot of humanitarian activities all over the world. One of the emphatic teachings of our Spiritual Leader His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu is to practice Christianity in our daily lives. In order to show the importance of this divine teaching of practical Christianity, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has set aside the 01st of December 2019 as a Worldwide Charity Day for us to support our brothers and sisters with acts of kindness, love, generosity and sharing what we have with one another.Some of the activities planned for the day are
1) Humanitarian visit to orphanages
2) Visit to elderly people's home
3) Visit to hospitals to pray for patients and pay bills for people who can't afford to pay their health bills
4) Visit to IDP camps
5) Visit to prisons to pray for inmates, give clothes and food. Also pay for their court visits and telephone calls
6) Paying of school fees for orphans, less privileged children and adults
7) Helping people set up small scale businesses.
8) Giving out of clothes, shoes etc.
9) Feeding of the homeless on the streets
The act of giving is an important way to demonstrate practical Christianity. (1st Corinthians 13 vs. 1-end). It is better to give than to receive.
All proceeds will be allocated to the different charity organisations all over the world and nothing will be used for administrative purposes. As we receive the funds, it is sent to the different organisations we are helping to alleviate their problems. So please support us on the 1st of December to put a smile on someone's face and the divine peace and blessings of God will surround you always.
