Story

In 2015 Bampton Surgery recognised that there was a need for a local group to support people with dementia and their carers. The Bampton Dementia Support Group was set up in 2016 following a succesful 14 week Cognitive Stimulation Therapy course run by Upstream.

The group provides stimulating activities for people with mild to moderate dementia and allows carers to have time together to share experiences and support each other.

The group is well supported by the members and their carers but as with any community group it need funds to keep going.

Earlier this year I decided to sign up for the Great West Run and want to use this moment of madness to raise money for this fantastic group.

Everything you donate, no matter how small, will go towards the running of the group.

Thank-you for your support!
