Our aim is to introduce newcomers to the sport of waterskiing who, due to their disability would not have previously considered the sport accessible. Amputees, blind, deaf, sufferers of partial paralysis, paraplegic other wheelchair users, people with Multiple Sclerosis and those with learning disabilities have all graduated from the British Disabled Waterski & Wakeboard Association. As we travel around several lakes in the region to ensure we reach as many people as possible we rely very heavily on our van full of kit (westuits, skis etc) and obviously our boat; I think we’ve had our boat for 10 years and our van for about 17 now! So both are coming to the end of their lives, and we simply cannot do what we do without them.
