Weʼve raised £3,245 to Bless Poppy and Jack

    Reading, United Kingdom
Funded on Monday, 9th October 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Dearest friends

When we find ourselves in a state of shock as we do at the news of Dawn's death we search for a way to help. This page has been set up, with Jack and Poppy's blessing, as one of the practical ways we can show our support to them. It is to be a blessing to them so that they do not feel a financial burden on top the immense heartbreak they are experiencing.

Whatever you are able to give will bless them at this difficult time.

Dear friends, Thank you so much to everyone for donating. We need to access the fund as soon as the website makes it available. The financial situation when someone dies is often a complex one with much of the money inaccessible during the process of probate. Whatever the total raised we will close this page on Wednesday 4th October 2017. Please circulate this update to give those that haven't had chance to donate time to do so before it closes. It would be amazing if we could give Poppy and Jack £4000. Thank you once again.

It's truly amazing in 48 hours over £2500 has been pledged for Poppy and Jack. From chatting to people today, I know there are more donations coming. The reality of the situation is that this money will have a huge impact. Please continue to donate and to share the link with all you can. One of Dawn's greatest fears about not winning her battle was about financial security for Poppy. By donating we can help towards ensuring that that fear is never realised in Poppy's life. Thank you for your generosity.

Thank you to so many people who have given and shared the link to the justgiving set up to bless Poppy and Jack. Whilst the parameters of the website insisted on a numerical value it would have read 'as much as possible' instead of £2000 if it had allowed it. Please share the link with all you can so we can far exceed any expectations that the limit may have set.

It's impossible to put into words how very special Dawn was. So kind, caring, loving, and "giving". We are all the more richer from knowing and loving this special lady x
