Story
Beacon Hill Primary School staff, would like to show their support for the Faasen family by completing a 24 hour bike ride in the school hall. Bryony, their daughter, was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) in 2017 and after an intensive period of treatment her cancer has recently returned. Bryony was a member of Beacon Hill School until last July when she left us to embark on the next stage of her education. However, we are delighted that the Faasens are still part of the Beacon Hill School family as Bryony's younger brother attends our school. Money raised will be given to the family to help relieve any financial pressures. The 24 hour challenge will start at 10:00 am on Friday 23rd November with staff taking various shifts. Staff will be camping in the hall overnight and we will update the website regularly with our progress and some pictures. Supporters are welcome to join us from 9:30 am on Saturday 24th in the school hall to cheer us over the last half an hour! Please donate generously.

Its comforting to know the school is supporting this family and bring togetherness through their suffering. Hope it will bring relief to them.
