Story

The parents and babies of Beaming Babies will be taking part in a sponsored Readathon on May 23rd (Neath) and May 24th (Swansea) in order to raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Singleton Hospital. The NICU provides specialist intensive care for babies who need support after birth. The vote was put out on social media and the majority of parents suggested this ward. There are parents and babies at Beaming Babies who have benefited first hand from the care provided by NICU which makes it even more special to us.

The money we raise will go to NICU to help them fund life saving equipment for the ward, staff training and development as well as funding support for parents.

One of our core values at Beaming Babies is supporting others and doing good where we can and encouraging little ones to do the same also. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Beaming Babies to take part in a fundraising event in support of a local cause. When we raise children who know the value of helping others, we raise the prospects of our future world.
