Our gorgeous boy Bear is suffering with knee degeneration causing him a great deal of pain.
He loves his walks, chasing balls and he really loves the swimming in the sea but he is unable to do any of these until he has an operation on both of his knees.
He is only 7 years old and is the most wonderful dog a family could ask for.
Unfortunately the insurance company will only pay up to £1000 towards the cost of his operations but due to the amount of pain he was in we could not wait until we saved enough money.
Bear had his first knee operation last week and seemed to be doing really well however due to the fact that his other knee is also bad he is now unable to walk on it causing him to have to use the one he has had surgery on which will not help his recovery. Therefore he will need to get his second knee fixed much sooner than planned.
