Who are we?
Residents of Bearlands and its surrounding area, who are working hard to revitalise the area, and replace the tired, worn and partly removed play area. There is very little in the area for children, and they often end up playing football in the road as there is nothing else to do.

How are we going to do this?
We are working with Stroud District Council (who are responsible for the land) to regenerate the area. They have pledged to match the funding we raise up to a total of £25k. This is great news, but also means we are working hard to raise the rest.
As well as investing money in the play area we hope to build a proper sense of community. We have already been able to run a number of successful sessions since the formation of our group in July.
