Story
Beating Hearts Merrow was set up by local resident Judith Hunt, who had a sudden and unexpected cardiac arrest while at work. She was fortunate enough to work in a hospital and underwent immediate and successful resuscitation.
Beating Hearts Merrow is aiming to:
• Raise funds for 5 or more 24 hour access defibrillators in Merrow
• Arrange training for Merrow residents in how to recognise and manage a sudden cardiac arrest
• Build a map of Merrow showing where every public access defibrillator is located
• Ensure that every resident receives a copy of the map with details about managing a cardiac arrest

3 years agoTo all our very generous, kind and thoughtful friends & supporters. We have been touched and amazed by both the amount donated but also the wonderful comments, we really do appreciate your huge support. With this and the fundraising events we are well on our way to buy the first defib and provide our first training events. We are really hoping to continue with the campaign, Merrow is a large area and we would like to provide full defib coverage. To all our friends and supporter’s enormous thanks. Judith xxx
