£10raised of £700 target by 1 supporter

Weʼve raised £10 to fund myself to go out to South Africa with others from school to volunteer and help improve peoples lives in disadvantaged communities.

Funded on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Im Matt, I am 18 years old and go to Sixth Form at Prudhoe Community High School. The school works with a charity called Project Gateway who help people in crisis and provide care, education and empowerment to those in need.

I’ve been given the chance to go out to Pietermaritzburg in South Africa for 2 weeks to work alongside the charity and help in anyway I can. Previous groups of students from our school have been out there in previous years and have helped build new toilets, paint walls and provide equipment for kids at the local schools.

This is my first time doing volunteering work like this and I’m very exited to try and make a difference. I would really appreciate if you could help me raise the funds needed to go by means of a donation. Thanks for reading my cause and I would love if you could donate any money you can, thanks!!

Tesco should definitely fund this for their Top Stock Controller
