I've raised £2025 to help fund a TiMband for our one year old Beauden

We noticed our babies head was flattening at around a week old, we voiced our concerns with doctors, the health visitor and family who told us yes it looked bad but it would correct. At 8 months we were referred to the borders general and saw a consultant. She told us it would correct and booked a second appointment. We were told it was bad but it would improve. Second appointment came and we still noticed how bad his head was. Everybody started telling us it looked better and we doubted there was anything wrong. The hospital made another follow up appointment and we left feeling deflated.
It wasnt until a few days before Beaudens first birthday i came across Technology in Motion and thought a second opinion might help ease our minds. We got there to be told he has a severe plagiocephaly and brachycephaly and we need to start treatment as soon as possible in order to get the best results. I am prepared to bankrupt myself in order to provide this treatment but have been told to try and fundraise before doing this.
Beauden is my third child and my partners first and never before have i come across plagiocephaly but my biggest regret is not trusting my gut. Our boy is a happy, clever little monster but we want to help him now before it is too late to correct. No baby deserves to be told the nhs will not fund their treatment when they give money out for other causes!
