Story
We are a small Stockport based group called Beautiful Minds. This group has been set up by and for, people that have tragically lost a loved one to suicide. As a group our main aim and passion is to help others through their grief by being a safe, friendly face and a listening ear. We also strive to raise awareness around mental health and suicide and to help anyone who may be experiencing mental health difficulties themselves. This in turn we feel will also help ourselves and members through our own grieving process, and more importantly to be able to honour our lost loved ones by simply being able to help others when in need and crisis.
Mental health and suicide are currently at an all time high so this is even more so, something very close to our hearts and we feel awareness around these issues are paramount. This summer we have decided as a group that we would like the opportunity to raise funds for a few mental health charity's. We have chosen that as a group, also with extended people who would like to join, we will be taking on the task of climbing/walking up Mount Snowdon.
Our aim is to try and raise as much funds as we possibly can to help those that desperately need it most, through 4 amazing mental health charities - Open Door, SOBS, Andy's Man Club and Once Upon A Smile.
