I’m Bea, a transgender female. I finally came out to be the true me just over 5 years ago. I had never met another transgender before and had no support groups or help locally so did it all on my own. Through coming out I lost family, friends, and even my job.

After becoming a model and winning the pageant Miss Transgender UK it opened my eyes to how many other people had real struggles like me and very little help. I realised that if I didn't do something about it then no-one else was going to and so this is where BeaYourself was founded.

BeaYourself is in early stages but my aim is that with the help and support of local businesses and organisations I will be able to fundraise, gain support, create support groups and promote equality for all to ensure everyone can live a free, safe and happy life.

All monies raised will be used to promote and fund the groups including, roller banners, business cards, advertising, refreshment facilities and expanding into wider areas to help and support as many people as possible in the fight for equality.
