Why we're doing this:

We’re heading to Cape Town in November again to change the lives of another 2,500 of disadvantaged children by building them a school within 7 days and the educational infrastructure to help them rise out of poverty.

These children have absolutely nothing. Often they have very little food, parents with no income or no parents at all, alone in the world to fend for themselves. When I visited last year to help build Yomelela primary school, I was blown away by how incredibly strong and full joy the children were. Singing, dancing, rushing to you for hugs and comfort, as they feel little of that. My heart breaks for them and their faces will be engrained in my memory forever.

This amazing charity and educational programme gives the children and their community hope and opportunity to break out of the poverty cycle. Hope in a world where there is very little.

These children deserve every bit of our support, love and kindness. I ask that you help by donating to our cause. Every penny goes towards the tools & equipment for the build, as well as all the teacher training that happens before & after to ensure the children get the education they need and should have.
