I've raised £350 to Help the Skiathos Cat Welfare Association by Walking 35 Miles.

Due to Skiathos Cat Welfare Association being a small charity, it is completely reliant on donations. When In Skiathos I was so happy to learn about the amount of love the cats recieve from this charity and also local businesses but it was sad to hear how difficult it can be. Seeing it has desperately made me want to help.
So I have decided to take on a challenge and complete a 4 day walk consisting of 35 miles along the Cornish coast!! Starting in Godrevy on the 19th September, following the coast round to St.Ives, Treen, St Just and finally arriving in Lands End on the 22nd September camping along the way.
SCWA has neutered over 6,000 cats and provides food 365 days a year to over 300 cats around the island, plus the 150+ in the charity's care with disabilities such as blindness. This done all by volunteering and donations.
Their greatest wish is to relocate the charity and its cats to a more suitable area in Skiathos. The 150+ cats that live in the shelter such as the kittens and cats with disabilities are facing losing their home due to the land being sold and they need funds to secure the future of the charity. Sadly this is very difficult due to the amount of funds to buy land, funds which the charity sadly doesn't have but hopefully this will be achievable very soon but in the meantime their number 1 priority is neutering the cats to stabilise the population the island to prevent unwanted kittens from being born into a life of hardship. These strays are also fed by volunteers around the island which takes up a large amount of the donations. The strays medical needs are also taken care of too.
Please support me and please donate what you can! If anyone is not familiar with donating online, I can accept manual donations and do it for you! Any donation is accepted and is really really appreciated!
