Story

We're trying to raise money to help purchase assistive equipment a wheelchair and ideally a better quality prosthetic for our mum following the amputation of her leg.

She is the most caring and giving person I know. Her and our dad go out of their way to help everyone around them in any way they can. We want to help and make life easier for them and with your help buy the equipment that will make it possible for mum to go back to her own home following this life changing surgery.

She lost her sight over 20 years ago due to blood clots in her brain. Her and my dad dealt with this and continued to raise 4 young children whilst learning a new way of life. As if that wasn’t enough, Mum continued to have medical problems, she fell down the stairs shattering her shoulder resulting in reduced movement in her shoulder.

At the end of 2016 she fell and crushed vertebrae with she continues to suffer with aches and pains. For the last three years she has also lived in almost constant pain in her leg. Doctors had tried everything, until the only option was for mum to have her leg amputated.

Now is the time we need help to help our mum get her life back and deal with this new challenge and ease her rehabilitation as much as possible.

The donations will go directly to our parents, and will be used to buy a decent wheelchair, simple everyday equipment that make things easier. If we can beat this target we can even help purchase an improved prosthetic for her.

Who knows what the future holds.

Any support will be gratefully apprecited making a huge difference to an incredile womans life.
