Help me give our Little Free Library a bigger home, so more books can be shared, discovered and loved by our local community.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my page! 💗

For the past 8 months or so , I’ve been running my own little free book library, with one simple aim: to help get more books into the hands of children and adults in our community, completely free of charge.

What started as a little project has grown into something truly special. Thanks to the generosity of so many wonderful people who donate books, and the lovely people who visit, take a book, leave a book and spread the word, my Little Pink Library continues to grow.

Following some lovely feedback and suggestions from the community, I’ve decided it’s time to take the next step and give the library a bigger home! 🌸📚

✨ Why do we need a bigger library?

At the moment, space is becoming limited, which means I can’t always display as many books as I’d like. I also use a trolley to make additional books available, but this isn’t suitable for the colder, wetter months.

I would love to raise enough money to buy a larger, weatherproof book shed or library that would allow me to:

📚 Store more books –creating space for a wider range of books for babies, children, teenagers and adults.

🌧️ Keep books safe and dry protecting the wonderful donated books from rain, damp and winter weather.

💗 Make more books available all year round without needing to rely on putting the trolley outside in unsuitable weather.

🌱 Help the library grow giving even more people the opportunity to discover a new favourite, find their next bedtime story or enjoy the simple pleasure of reading.

💕 Every book deserves to be loved

I truly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy a book, regardless of their circumstances. A book can spark a child’s imagination, offer comfort, provide an escape or create precious moments shared together.

My Little Pink Library is all about community, kindness and sharing the magic of reading. Every donated book, every visit and every little act of generosity helps make it possible.

Now, with your help, I’d love to create a bigger, more practical space where even more books can find their next home.
