I'm raising £2000 to support firefighters, emergency service workers and their families across the UK

Story

In September, Becky and Oli from Presteigne Fire Station will be travelling to the USA to take on a memorial stair climb in honour of firefighters and emergency service workers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Taking part in Atlanta, Georgia USA and climbing 110 floors to reflect the height of the world trade center we are turning remembrance into meaningful support for those who give so much in service to others.

Our aim is to raise £2,000+ to help support our event and the charities (Firefighters charity and Blue light card foundation) that stand behind firefighters, emergency service workers, and their families across the UK and the US.

Every step we climb is a mark of respect — remembering those we’ve lost, standing with their families, and showing solidarity with our colleagues in the fire and emergency services across the UK and the US.

This challenge is also about giving back. We are raising money for three incredible charities that provide vital care and support to firefighters and emergency service workers when they need it most.

Thank you for supporting us and helping us turn remembrance into real support. ❤️🚒
