Our 6 year old son was diagnosed with autism last year. He‘s really struggled with school and social situations. To add to his anxiety, we were burgled. Our son hasn‘t felt safe in our home since. After much debate and reducing my hours at work to care for my son we decided on a companion as therapy, responsibility and a friend. Within 10 days our puppy was diagnosed with a liver shunt. The insurers can‘t help because the policy was taken out within the first 14 days of finding the problem.

We have been referred to a liver specialist for surgery. My son is begging me not to let his puppy die. This is a long shot but i’m asking for help to fund the operation which will give our puppy ‘Barnaby’ a long & healthy life with his best friend
