I've raised £50 to send shoe boxes filled with goodies to disadvantaged children across the world via Operation Christmas Child.

Hi there, every year my daughters and I buy lots of different items to pack into a shoe boxes, and then ship Operation Christmas Child, who then distribute them to disadvantaged children around the world who have never received anything new or for Christmas.
Shoes boxes contains -
Hygiene items (many children don't have soap or even share toothbrushes)
Something to love, usually a teddy or dolly.
School items (Many children attend school or can't because they have no school supplies)
Sweets ( Some children have never tasted sweets)
Warm clothing- hats, gloves (Last year our boxes went to Serbia where it was -15c.)
Toys plus much more.
Many children have never had anything new and share their box with other children or their family.
To send each box costs £3. We are fundraising to send 15 boxes and hopefully more. I have 15 already made up and more items to be packed when I have more boxes. I pack it all, then wrap it in Christmas paper.
I then book the shoe box a tracking code on the Operation Christmas Child website, and then pop the codes in the box. We then take them to Shoe Zone in Bolton, which is the designated drop off point. It is then collected and double checked and then shipped off to the children.
To send each box is £3 per box. So please can you donate what ever you can even if it only £1 or less, it all adds up. I will provide you with the tracking number, and in January, an email will be sent to my email with the destination. I will inform you where the boxes were sent too.
Thank You so much xxxxx
