My mum has had M.S for over 30 years. As the years have passed her condition has progressed and has caused her to not be able to use her left hand and she also can not walk un-aided. My mum is such an inspiration to me as no matter how much she struggles with everyday activities, she is always there to help anybody who needs it. She hides the pain so well but the strain shows sometimes. At the minute she can take a few steps indoors using a zimmer frame and also has a mobility scooter which alows her to go the the shop near her home so she doesnt feel trapped in her home. M.S is a degenerative disease and it is heartbreaking to see the effect it has on someone that I love with all my heart. Nobody deserves to go through the mental and physical pain my mum endures on a daily basis.

She has been wanting a new wheelchair that she can use indoors and outdoors as she struggles to lift her legs into the mobility scooter that she has.

I just want to help in anyway I can to allow my mum to have the peace of mind and freedom that she needs .

The wheelchair is £950 for a second hand one.

I wish I had the money to buy it for her myself, as it will improve her quality of life no end.
