Hi, my name is Theo!

I’m 5 years old (nearly 6!) and on September 6th, 2025, I’ll be taking part in the Mini Great North Run — and I’m running for a very special reason!

I’m raising money for Relax Kids, a brilliant group that has been helping me since September 2024. With the help of my lovely Relax Kids leader, Margaret, I’ve learned how to handle my big emotions and feel more confident. Relax Kids has taught me how to stay calm, ask for help when I need it, and it’s also been lots of fun!

I want to raise money so that other children can have the chance to join Relax Kids too and learn all the great things I’ve learned.

Every donation — big or small — will help more kids feel happy, calm, and confident, just like me. Thank you so much for your support!

All the money raised will go towards bringing Relax Kids to another school in the North. Relax Kids will match the total raised and offer training, toolkits, and/or resources depending on how much we raise. The goal is to help a school with a limited budget get access to Relax Kids — so they can reduce stress and build emotional resilience in their pupils.

This means long-term access to support, tools, and resources that help create a consistent culture of wellbeing in the classroom. The training will empower teachers and support staff to weave Relax Kids into the school day — reaching every child, in every class, especially those who need it most.

Relax Kids offers classes that help children manage anxiety, big feelings, and build self-confidence. They also provide toolkits and calming audios for both school and home. Their sessions follow a special 7-step system that helps children relax, feel calm, and grow emotionally strong.
