Story

Late Friday a tiny foal was spotted in a massive stubble field by absolute chance miles from any farm but close to a very busy country road. The dear sole was captured eventually by 6 of us. He was petrified but to our amazment loaded into a trailer and travelled with a human quietly. If he hadnt have been spotted so late on a friday night its not thinkable what may have happened to him on the road or what devastation to a family it would have caused. .

Getting him home we found him immaciated, underwight, hungry, thirsty and frightened. Bedded down for the night and with a small feed, he wouldnt touch we waited on tenderhooks till the morning. He had attempted to eat and was munching on hay. We spent the weekend handleing him and his trust was won so we were able to let him in the field to graze on the new spring grass that will do him the world of good.

His condition became more obvious to us. Total neglet. It broke our hearts as he was so tiny. Normally these colts are destroyed and burt, but for some reason they let him go in hope that someone would do as we have done. Hes a fighter. Over the last 4 days his trust has made my heart bleed. Please help us fund this brave little chap. Every £ counts towards Vet Jabs, Passport, Farrier , Dentist, worming and castration in order to find his forever home. We have the time and just ask for even £1. Every penny counts. We have been given a lovely field to help with his future. Never asked for help like this before. This chap deserves it.
