Story
None of us like to think that a young child would need a defibrillator to potentially save their life, but this very thing happened to a three-year-old at a pre-school not far away. The closest defibrillator did not have child-sized pads so could not be used. Thankfully the child was treated by pre-school staff at the scene then taken to hospital and made a full recovery. Even though incidents like this are very rare, we would like to do everything we can to keep the children in our care safe. We are therefore raising money to buy our own defibrillator which includes child pads to place outside our nursery. The device will available for public use, so will benefit everyone. Defibrillators can be life-savers, so please give what you can and help us raise money for this important cause.
