Story
We are setting up a native bee area near Falmouth to conserve and protect Cornish black bees. The area is close to allotment plots and family leisure gardens and to maximise safety we want to plant bee friendly flowers and shrubs and native trees to offer forage for the bees and create a barrier between the bees and young families using the leisure gardens.
The money raised would buy plants and shrubs from local nurseries and help the area develop into a haven for pollinators and a more protected environment for the bees and beekeepers using the site.
