    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Beeston Ladies First team has won promotion from the Conference North League to the highest level for England Hockey, the Investec Premier League. In addition to this they also play in the Premiership Indoor Hockey League.

The season starts in September 2018 and the Ladies first team will be playing all around the county at the top level of Hockey in the UK. The estimated cost for kit, travel and accommodation will double this year’s total budget of £15,000.

Unlike football at the highest level, the players in the squad are not professional. The players are either studying or working full time. They and their coaches commit huge amounts of time and effort in competing at this level.

We would greatly appreciate any help, no matter how small, in helping the team get sufficient funds to compete through the year as we look for more long-term support for future years.
