At Begbrook this year our new PTFA fundraising initiative is BOOKS! There is a need to update and enrich the reading material that is available across the school, there is currently a good choice, but we hope that with a concerted effort we will be able to add to this to ensure a more diverse offering is available. We all know that books are consumable and we want them to be well used but this does mean that replacements are required and we hope this new focus will help the school to do this more easily.

We are calling it ‘The year of the book’ and we intend to bring some sort of literary influence to all our fundraising efforts, which we hope the children will love.
