Story

As some of you may know last March I completed a 53 mile run to Derry in memory of my late uncle. In the weeks that past after it there was a huge uplift within my family including my Nanny (she refuses to be called anything else). She understandable took the death of her son quite badly and at any age the loss of a child is something so very hard to deal with.

In speaking with her she told me how what I had did had taken such a sad time and completely changed it. With that in mind I joked with her that I would do it again but double it and dedicate it to her.

At a grand old age of 95 I want her to have something to feel proud and happy about. No words will ever convey what this woman has done not only for me but for our whole family leading us all to be the people we are today.

So this time round Im hoping to be able to run from Killybegs right back to Coalisland a distance total of somewhere round 105 miles, the equivalent of four marathons back to back.

Anyone who knows me closely will know how much effort and training has went into this, so I would ask and hope that the same effort come back in the donations made to these two very worthwhile charities.

Thanks for all your support
