I've raised £750 to carry out 30 acts of kindness to good causes in the community.

Every day in September the team at LY Copywriting will be doing something kind for local people and places that deserve a helping hand. From donating doggie treats to a rehoming shelter to donning our gloves and joining a local litter pick to buying a bunch of retro sweets to help take elderly care home residents on a trip down memory lane, we’ll be pledging to carry out 30 acts of kindness in the community.
Norfolk has a vibrant creative community, but it’s also a kind one too. So, we’re asking local businesses to support our campaign and help us show some kindness to worthy causes.
£25 can:
- Buy enough tea bags for 1000 cups of tea for Norwich’s homeless community
- Help tackle period poverty by donating over 500 sanitary products
- Provide an hour of phoneline crisis support for a domestic violence charity
- Buy a bunch of retro sweets to help take elderly care home residents on a trip down memory lane.
Why are we doing this?
We've recently taken on a young person through the government’s Kickstart scheme with the goal of enhancing their long term employment prospects. Our ‘be kind in 30 ways for 30 days’ campaign will not only give them the chance to learn how a social media campaign works, but work on a worthy campaign that supports local causes. We might be a small business, but even a tiny team can make a big difference to someone’s day.
But ultimately...because it’s cool to be kind.
