Story

Several groups of marathon runners will take to the streets of Belfast tomorrow to run for Community Rescue Service. The voluntary service is very much in need of a new vehicle and a way of keeping going with a service that is in increasing demand. Some of you may have seen “The Search“ series on BBC One, which gave just a glimpse of only a glimpse of what CRS do. Mental Health is a critical issue in Northern Ireland, and CRS are a critical part of dealing with this issue. My husband along with an increasing group of volunteers give up their time to look for those most vulnerable and who have gone missing. They receive little funding and need vital funds to keep going.
