Belhaven Hill School and their PTFA are joining forces to help raise money to support the School's chosen charity for this year, The Ridge, and to buy some new equipment for the School Pipe band.

We hope that new equipment will help give more opportunities to pupils at the school and in the local community to perform in both practice and in concerts. We would like to purchase a snare drum kit and a couple of goose bagpipe sets, to aid the transition from beginner to member of the Band for those children excited and enthusiastic about learning these instruments.

Our support for The Ridge is aimed at supporting a local educational cause that supports the teaching and learning of key skills in our local community whilst preserving sites of historical and current importance.

The whole school will be aiming to complete an 18km walk between North Berwick Law and Traprain Law on Friday 1st May, with an age-appropriate distance covered by each year group. There will be a musical picnic in East Linton's memorial park during the event that parents, families and supporters are most welcome to attend.
