I've raised £400 to help fund my volunteering in Guatemala & Honduras!

Hi everyone!!
Between July 6th - 8th I will be challenging myself to walk 52 MILES in 3 days (equivalent of 2 marathons), with my dad, in order to raise money for my volunteering programmes in Honduras and Guatemala over the summer!
On September 15th I will be travelling to Honduras to take part in an engineering programme with Global Brigades, organised by Warwick University. A group of us will be working in a rural community for a week, designing and engineering a clean water system. These projects are extremely valuable for such communities because without assistance, they are under resourced and unable to implement such projects themselves.
Global Brigades (GB) is an international non-profit organisation which collaboratively carries out programmes with universities. GB's ultimate goal is to resolve economic and health disparities in rural communities, through a sustainably driven, holistic model.
GB funds all of its programmes, leadership development and administrative costs through the fundraising efforts of more than 500 Global Brigades University Chapters worldwide.
3 weeks prior, I will be volunteering on a coffee plantation in the outskirts of Antigua, Guatemala, through the International Volunteers HQ (IVHQ). The programme I have chosen focuses on Eco-Agriculture Conservation, with a specific focus on economic development and agricultural sustainability.
IVHQ works collaboratively with in-country NGO's, and develops projects that support local needs through sustainable positive impacts. In my case, I will be working alongside the local coffee farmers and taking on numerous roles which range from helping in the growing process to community outreach.
I am therefore aiming to raise £400, through my walk, to contribute towards the administrative costs of the projects.
I will publish my walking route when it is finalised and will set up a tracker on my phone when the walking weekend arrives so people can see where I'm heading!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page and read up on my challenge! Any support is super appreciated and I cannot wait to see where this heads!
Lots of love, Bella xxx
