BELMOND RELIEF FUND – BELMOND EMPLOYEES SUPPORTING BELMOND EMPLOYEES

Hurricane Irma hit the Caribbean islands of Anguilla and St Martin on 6 September 2017 causing widespread devastation. Many homes have been lost and lives have been turned upside down.

To help support our colleagues at Belmond Cap Juluca and Belmond La Samanna recover from this terrible storm, Belmond has set up an emergency fund aiming to raise GBP 100,000 within the next month.

Belmond will match the total raised.

We have set up this website where you can donate all the proceeds raised; please share it with all your colleagues who may not have received this message so we can reach the GBP 100,000 soon!

Many of you have reached out to ask how you can support our colleagues at this time of great need, please find hereby some ideas to raise funds for them;

Fundraising ideas:

Host a coffee morning (hotel sponsors some sweet treats and cakes and associates enjoy and donate a small amount per treat. Or staff themselves can prepare some sweet treats)

Dust off your baking skills for a Baking competition

Get active and challenge yourself and your colleagues to a sponsored charity bike/run

Luncheon – invite staff and their families to a lunch (healthy sandwiches and nibbles). Ask them for donations during the event. Could include a raffle or similar.

Movie night – invite staff for a classic movie and ask for a small entrance fee/fee for popcorn and drink
