We are a small, local hockey club, based in the beautiful mill town of Belper in the Derbyshire Dales. We have had success in the past, playing in the England Hockey National League, we have even produced an Olympic Gold medal winning player, Hollie Webb, a Gold Medal winning coach Craig Keegan and two more current GB and England players Anna Toman and Kathryn Lane. We have always prided ourselves in being a small, family orientated club who are able to acheive a lot with very little. We have just managed to secure promotion back into National League for the next two years, however the costs associated with a team competing at this level are now extrmely challenging, many of the clubs in the League have large budgets, big sponsors, physio and strength and conditiong coaches and huge amounts of financial support. We dont have this and we need help to raise some money to help us with coaching, transport and equipment costs to enable this small, family club to compete at the highest level. Without his funding we will not be able to stay in the National League, we want to compete with these rich clubs but at the monet we cant...... We really are underdogs!! Please help in anyway you can.
