I've raised £839 to Allow me to pay for psychotherapy so I can move forward in life

I'm 27 years old, I have struggled with clinical depression since my teenage years. and have had a history of mental health & abandonment issues since I was 5 years old. In July 2018 I found an online community of people with similar issues who helped me to understand that I had grown up in a neglectful and dysfunctional family which included a lot of violence and alcoholism. this has left me with various psychological wounds and trauma that is unresolved to this day.
I Don't want to write a long story so that people want to donate out of pity, but I am trying so hard to deal with my issues the right way. I have done months of research into which types of therapy are the most effective for people with a history of trauma and neglect and I believe I have found it. there are not many therapists who offer this particular therapy in the UK as it is one of the newer and most advanced types. I am hoping to raise money for 24 sessions at £70 per session. and I believe these 12 sessions will help me to deal with the bulk of my trauma because it is very effective.
Of course the client-therapist relationship is key and if I feel the therapist is a bad fit I will refund all the money. but I wanted to raise enough to ensure I can continue if need be. the way the mental health system in the UK is. crowdfunding is the only option.
