Myself and my brother Matt are taking part in the Winter Wolf Run on the 4th November 2017, a 10k off-road run featuring a series of man-made and natural obstacles located throughout the course. There are a series of physical challenges using man-made obstacles with the run course also featuring a huge number of nature’s finest obstacles, from lake swims to mud pits, fallen trees, boggy ground, ditches, hills and dense foliage. Its going to be very cold but well worth it!

We are raising funds for the Silver Birches Care Home Comfort Fund, as their treatment and care of our Nan who has Alzheimers was nothing short of fantastic. Even if we only manage to raise a few pounds, they can use the funds to help buy new equipment for the residents or even just give them some well deserved gifts or things they can get enjoyment from. If we can help to brighten the day of just one of the residents, or contribute towards new equipment then we will be happy with that.

Alzheimer's, is a chronic neurodegenerative disease that usually starts slowly and worsens over time. It is the cause of 60% to 70% of cases of dementia. It is heartbreaking to witness and this is a cause that means a lot to us.
