On Saturday September 9th this year one of my Parents and friends Jo Farion is competing in the 'Race to the Farm' Ultra' marathon which is astonishingly 50 miles running on various grounds & levels. I've personally ran a half marathon which is hard enough both physically and mentally, but to do 50 miles is quite simply incredible in my mind.
We would like to raise money for the North Bradley Under 11's football team, which I've set up this year. I also personally want to eventually have youth football for boys & girls from ages 6 years to 16. I grew up in the village of North Bradley & now back living here. I want to create an environment where our young people of today can inspire each other, create life lasting friendships & provide them with skills both on & off the pitch to become decent adult human beings. We are currently funded by sponsorships that covers the teamwear & kit plus a one off membership fee. No training or match fees are given so once the money runs out I'm paying from my own pocket. Both Jo's boys Sonny & Zak are playing for me this season and we both felt for such a challenge raising funds for our football club would be a great idea.
I've got over a thousand friends & associates on my Facebook, if everyone gave just a £1 this would help massively on achieving the ultimate goal of football for everyone in a village community.
