I'm raising £500 to Help provide specialist treatments and therapies for Eva

Eva is a wonderful 4 year old with bright eyes and infectious smile, which belies her disability. Eva was born with Rett Syndrome, a life limiting and debilitating syndrome that sees her requiring constant care and supervision. Her parents and grandparents do all they can to provide for her, but funding the specialist treatments and therapies is not cheap.
Rett Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder found only in females. Affecting 1 in 10,000, It affects brain development and causes severe mental and physical disability from early childhood.
I decided to do my bit for this loving and caring family who have been friends of mine for many years. This spring I will compete in a triathlon event and hopefully raise money to help fund some of the therapies that help Eva get the most from life.
You can follow my training and other adventures at my blog page. I hope you can find it in yourself to help this little girl, her dedicated family and friends, who work hard to give her the best life they can.
THANK YOU.
