Story
Welcome to our just giving page, myself and my partner have set this up to help us with the costs of IVF treatment that will be starting soon.
A little bit about ourselves, in 2015 at age 30 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, after undergoing an Orchiectomy (testicle removal) followed by chemotherapy, this has now caused a chain reaction with other medical conditions to which I have to suffer with on a daily basis.
Prior to 2015 I always wanted to have a family but it never happened, I now know after so many tests and visits to urology that my semen samples are not quite up to scratch.
Because of these problems I thought the fertility clinic would help fund us, but no as my partner has a 10 year old daughter from a previous relationship.
At the moment they are currently on with doing tests and scans for my partner and she has to go in for a laparoscopy shortly to check everything is clear for her.
Once all this is complete we would be ready to start the treatment but without the help from the NHS we just can not afford it, I do feel that it seems unfair they wont help fund it as the problem seems to lie with me and it makes me feel like they are denying me the chance of being a father.
I am now appealing to you to help us raise the funds so we can have a chance at adding to our family, we will ourselves be putting money into the funds and if it comes down to us not needing the money everything will be refunded back to you.
I would like to thank everyone in advance for their kind generosity and charity, we will keep you all updeted with our ongoing progress.
