On the 14th of August, a adventurous group of children, guided and supported by their dedicated Fire Fighter dads from the Jersey Fire and Rescue Service, will embark on an inspiring journey to conquer the highest peak in the UK — Ben Nevis. This challenge is not just a test of endurance but a heartfelt tribute to two beloved souls whose lives were tragically cut short.

In memory of a father and his young son who lost their lives in a devastating accident on 5th August 2023, we are committed to raising funds for The Lowe Legacy Fund. This fund, established with the Jersey Community Foundation, aims to carry forward their legacy by promoting accessibility to the arts and music, supporting disadvantaged communities on the Island, and aiding the development of individuals with learning disabilities — causes that were deeply cherished by them.

In addition we would like to make a contribution towards Fire Fighters Charity, which provide lifelong care and support to the UK’s fire family.
