Thank you for taking the time to read my JustGiving page.

I'm pleased to say that I received an offer to study Ceramic Design at Central Saint Martins University (UAL) one of the most influential universities and one of the best Arts & Design courses in the world! I've been leading up to this moment after receiving my A* in Ceramic for my A-level. However this hasn't been easy due to to the fact that I’m living in a rural location in the UK countryside with no public transportation. I struggle to find a part-time job under this circumstances and I need to rely on my mother to drive me around. Adding to this I've been struggling with dyslexia throughout whole my life although this hasn't stopped me from getting to where I am today.

Since the University is in London my first step was to apply for students accommodation I applied for student finance to cover the rent and living costs however they don’t help providing money for a deposit to the student accommodation. I only found out that I needed £510 for the deposit in order to keep the spot in the beginning of March. I've tried to reach out my father to help with the funding but It seems that messages and missed calls aren’t enough to get his attention. My parents are currently separated and It's really hard for them to come up with solutions as they don't communicate with each other at all. I would have contacted charities myself but during this time I was doing my two art A-Levels in order to get this opportunity.

I relied on my mother to reach out to charities as I came from a low income background but a month have passed and still no news about any help funding so as my last resort, I intended to use the savings that my grandmother gave me. When I asked my mum about it I found out that she spent all this money on holidays like Florida and Greece and not only that, I discovered that even my sister used some of this money to go to Dubai.

Going to university and being able to do a degree in Ceramic Design is something I been dreaming for such a long time, I’m very passionate about it. I've been leading my whole life to this very moment and I believe this is the last obstacle I need to overcome to accomplish my dream. If I don’t get enough money to pay this deposit I’ll lose my student accommodation spot and I can’t afford to rent a room in London. I would lose what is most probably my only shot on getting a graduation.

I thank you the fact that you’ve taken the time to read this, I really appreciate it! I brought you my story in order to ask you for help. Asking for help is never easy but I see this as my last chance to pursuit my dream and show to the world. I would be happy with any help you can give me to reach out to this opportunity.
